Traditional Festivals
Chinese New Year
Fireworks, firecrackers… Its Chinese New Year! Chinese new year is a traditional Chinese festival and is one of the most important ones.
Chinese Traditions
Chinese New Year is a festival that existed for years. People play fireworks, unite with their family, and eat and enjoy.
But at different places and different kinds of people at different time can have different ways of celebrating Chinese new year.
Here’s comparison of Beijing and Hebei’s traditions and what they have in common (this is only for what I know)
Beijing | Hebei | Both |
---|---|---|
Eats Desserts | Eats Nameless Foods | Eats food |
No Fireworks but TV | Fireworks and TV | Both Makes sounds |
Most Leaves to Reunite | Many Came to Reunite | All reunites with family |
I added padding and lines between words for easy to read and it was centered in website(I guess this is what the instruction mean by accessable…?).
Category | In China | In Canada | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Family | Individual | Family | Individual | |
Adult | Buys Food | Free Choice | Makes Food | Free Choice |
Child | Eats | Fireworks | Eat and Fireworks | IDK |
And the next comparing is for different places and people.(family is celebrating chinese new year in family, Individual is a person celebrating individually)
I suppose this is called the complex table.
Items | Canada | China |
---|---|---|
Milk | Cheaper | Expensive |
Desserts | Expensive | Cheaper |
Decoration | Expensive | Cheaper |
Decoration and Desserts kind of makes sense if its cheaper cuz the decorations can be easily seen beside specific streets with people selling those handmade decorations at a cheap price.
Shops and Markets can’t sell decorations if its too expensive(many detailed handmade cheap things can be found or made).
